How to read this pack
Gold "On the site" badge — already in assets/bikes.json. Photo, price and
specs come from your own data, and the button is your existing affiliate link.
Red "Not on site" badge — a gap. Photo and price come from the brand or a dealer, and
the button goes to the official product page. This is your outreach and affiliate shortlist.
Evidence tier matters. These lists are built from 2026 roundups (Electrek, Electric Bike
Report, Pinkbike Field Test), popularity and sales data, and brand pricing pages — not from riding
every bike. Label hands-on picks differently from researched picks on camera; that distinction is
the whole credibility play.
Prices were checked 13 August 2026 and are MSRP unless noted. Script them as "retails for X,
commonly on sale around Y" so the videos age well over the two-plus years they keep earning views.

The most competitive category in cycling. Mid-drives, real suspension kinematics, and the one place where the legacy bike brands still own the top of the podium.

Mid-drive motor — hub drives do not belong on real singletrack
Modern trail geometry: slack head angle, steep seat tube, long reach
Suspension from Fox or RockShox with a proper tune, not a generic coil
Four-piston brakes and a dropper post as standard
Dealer network or a return policy — these need service

Electric Bike Report and Outside both call it the best e-MTB of 2026. Nothing balances motor, battery and suspension this completely.
840Wh battery with an optional 280Wh range extender
Genuinely adjustable geometry — head angle and BB height both tunable
The dealer network is the hidden feature; you can get this serviced anywhere
Dual batteries, LiFePO4 packs and 60V systems. The category where claimed range and real range diverge the most — so every number here needs a reality check.

The range king of the whole guide. 4,200Wh of LiFePO4 and a claimed 235 miles that even discounted hard is enormous.

LiFePO4 chemistry means far more charge cycles than standard lithium
