Billy Goat V3
The stripped-back, street-tracker sibling to the Motor Goat — identical 60-volt powertrain, 3,000W peak hub motor, 50A controller, full suspension and 4-piston hydraulic brakes, wrapped in a leaner, naked-frame body.

Pedals or Pegs

Ride it like a bike
Keep the Shimano 7-speed drivetrain so you can pedal, legally pass as a bicycle on the bike path, and get home under your own power if the battery ever runs flat.

Delete the drivetrain
Prefer pure throttle? Order the Original Gradient with foot pegs instead of pedals for the cleanest, most stripped-back look. Same frame, same power — no chain to fuss with.

The Engineering
Built On Better Technology

Frame & Suspension
Reinforced aluminum, built for 60V power and 450 lbs.
Naked Reinforced Alloy Frame
A leaner, stripped-back take on the Goat frame — reinforced aluminum alloy with a 450 lb weight limit and a ram-head cutout, carrying a flat bench seat over an exposed rear shock.
Full Front & Rear Suspension
A TRAMA fork up front and a 350 lb-rated FASTACE coil shock out back soak up chatter, potholes and rough trails.
Dialed To Your Weight
The rear coil has compression and rebound adjustment, so you can tune the ride for your weight and the terrain you ride.

Motor Technology
Gearless direct-drive, 3,000W peak.
3,000W Peak Direct-Drive Hub
A custom 2,000W-rated gearless motor peaks at 3,000 watts and 170 Nm — the exact powertrain that pulls the Motor Goat V3 to 48 mph on the flats.
50A Controller
A 50-amp controller — roughly double a typical e-bike's — feeds the motor for savage, silent off-the-line acceleration.
Whisper-Quiet, Wear-Free
Direct-drive means no internal gears to wear out and a nearly silent ride, even at full tilt.

Battery & Power
60V Samsung-celled pack.
60V 25Ah Samsung Battery
Built on premium Samsung cells across 17 strings, the keyed down-tube pack charges all the way to 71.4 volts — higher than a typical 60V pack.
Real-World Range
Up to 60 miles in pedal assist or 37 all-electric — and a 2nd battery slots in ahead of the seat to nearly triple your range.
~5–6 Hour Charge
The 25Ah pack refills in about five to six hours, so it's ready to rip again by the next morning.
The Cockpit
Everything On One Screen
Full-Colour LED Display + App Control (key ignition required)
The Billy Goat runs off a bright full-colour display that shows your speed, exact wattage going to the motor, battery percentage and voltage, trip data, and pedal-assist level — plus a volt and watt meter so you always know what the pack is doing.
A handlebar remote runs your headlight high/low beam, LED turn signals and horn. Pair the app for optional GPS navigation, and lock it down with the rear wheel lock and throttle lock whenever you park.

Motor Goat V3 review →The Billy Goat hasn't hit the Cave yet.
I haven't put my own miles on the Billy Goat for a full review — but it shares its entire powertrain and running gear with the Motor Goat V3. Until the Billy Goat gets its own video, the Motor Goat V3 review shows you exactly how this drivetrain performs on the road.

This is a tall, heavy bike — the 33" seat height suits most riders with a 27" inseam or longer, and at 101 lbs you'll want a truck bed or a beefy rack to move it. Under 5'6"? Consider a lower-profile model like the Mini Goat.

The Bike Cave Verdict
Ben's Take
The Billy Goat is the Motor Goat V3 in different clothes — same 60-volt system, same 3,000-watt peak hub motor, same 50-amp controller, same Samsung pack, same 4-piston brakes. So everything I said about that bike holds here: it's about as close to a motorcycle as you'll get on a bicycle for under three grand. On the Motor Goat I hit 48 mph, held 28 up a steep grade, and the 4-piston brakes on 203mm rotors stopped it dead. What changes on the Billy Goat is the frame — it's the leaner, more stripped-back, naked-tracker look, with a flat bench seat over an exposed coil shock. It's still tall and still heavy at 101 lbs, so under 5'6" or if you can't lift it into a truck, think twice. But for the power, the parts and the price after my code, it's the same knockout value in a sharper-looking package. Use the code and order it.
👍 What carries over
- Insane value — the closest thing to a motorcycle under $3,000
- 3,000W peak / 170 Nm — brutal acceleration and hill-climbing
- 4-piston hydraulic brakes on 203mm rotors stop it dead
- TRAMA fork + FASTACE coil shock = genuinely comfortable
- Leaner naked-tracker frame with a flat bench seat and exposed shock
- Turn signals, locks, app, mag wheels, pedals-or-pegs choice
👎 What to know
- Not yet independently reviewed — score is inherited, not final
- Tall bike — riders under 5'6" should look elsewhere
- Heavy at 101 lbs — you'll want a truck bed or a beefy rack
- Fast enough to get you in trouble — ride responsibly
