Yozma IN 10 Pro

Finally, a Yozma that fits an adult. 60V, 5,000–5,500W, 220 N·m, 17″/14″ wheels and a 330 lb capacity. I got 42 mph on the GPS, held 30 mph up a 15% grade — and it out-braked every bike I've ever tested on the channel.

Top Speed 42 mph on GPS

Power mode 3, no unlocking needed, GPS running alongside. “It just takes off like a bat out of hell. 35, 38, 40, 41, 42 miles an hour. That's about it — I got 42 miles an hour with my almost 200 lb body sitting on it. That's pretty good.” A substantial step up from the standard IN 10.

Long sustained 15% grade from the fire hydrant, mode 3, full battery. “Man, this thing just picks up and goes. Got to 30 miles an hour before the hill really started and it just keeps 30 miles an hour. Oh man, this thing has some power now.”

Lamp pole to driveway pull-out, all three modes. Mode 1 gave 18 mph, mode 2 gave 26. “Power mode number three — I'm going to lean forward cuz I don't want to loop out. 3, 2, 1, go. Oh yeah, so much more power. 25, 28, 30.”

28 mph into a 20 ft marker, dry road, tyres still slightly waxy from the box. “26, 28 and brake. Oh my god — these brakes are insane. Look at this, I could fit like another three bikes in here. Unreal. This is by far the best braking bike I've ever reviewed on the channel.”

Gravel, grass, wooded trail and a stretch of properly loose beach sand. “It's tough to ride, but as soon as you get going this thing has so much power it doesn't even care. Get you in, get you out, no problems at all.”

60V 27Ah pack, but ridden in mode 3 nearly the whole ride with hills and top-speed runs. “We've done 17 miles on today's ride… I'm going to be lucky on today's ride to get maybe 20 miles. And that's worst-case scenario.” 5 Ah more capacity, but the extra power drinks it.

One suspicion worth logging: 42 mph is what the bike gave me stock, but the hardware looks like it has more in it. “I got a sneaking suspicion that Yozma is kind of gatekeeping the speed a little bit here, because I know that this controller and this battery can actually do closer to 50 miles an hour.” The FarDriver controller is Bluetooth-tunable with a $20 dongle if you want to find out.

A Real Step Up

The motor jumped from 48V/2,600W to 60V and 5,000–5,500W, with 220 N·m of torque. Mode 1 caps at 20 mph, mode 2 gives 32, mode 3 takes you to 40 and beyond.

Tunable Gearing

A 62-tooth sprocket on a 420 chain, “basically what all of the big e-motos have” — drop to a smaller sprocket for speed or go bigger for torque.

FarDriver Controller

An open plug behind the panel takes a USB dongle so you can Bluetooth the bike to your phone and change any parameter you want.

“These are some of the biggest calipers I've ever seen, and they've got motorcycle lines going to them. This is a four-piston caliper — a floating caliper, which means it'll always be centred right onto the disc.”

Suspension That Holds You Up

“The suspension feels like it actually supports my weight. I remember being on the IN 10 and just sitting on it and boom, there goes half your travel. This feels like suspension meant to support a 200-lb body, not a 120-lb kid.”

The Cockpit

Reverse, Lights — And One Gripe

Colour display · R for reverse · punchy LED headlight

Hold R and the throttle spins the wheel backwards; let go and you're moving forwards again. “Genius.” The light button runs the headlight and tail light together, and the tail light brightens under braking day or night.

The one thing I'd change is the screen. “I've gone inside the menu and increased the brightness as much as it'll go. This is as bright as it gets and I can barely see it. As soon as the sun hits it, it just washes out. I kind of wish they'd kept it as a basic black and white LCD.”

This is the whole point of the Pro: “if you're 5′5″ and smaller then sure, you might fit on the IN 10. But if you're over that, get the IN 10 Pro. It just feels like a much bigger bike — it's more proportionate to your size and it's going to support your weight, so you're not going to bottom this thing out.” Over 6 ft, I'd be looking at a Sur-Ron-size machine instead. Ride it where it's legal — check your local laws.

The Bike Cave Verdict

Ben's Take

This definitely feels like a 2.0 version. The original IN 10 felt like a little toy — something to bomb around a campsite on. This feels like the dirt bike. The tires are grippier, the wheels roll over everything easier, the brakes are bigger, the motor is bigger, and the suspension finally feels like it's designed to support a person my weight. 42 mph with my 200 lb body on it is plenty fast on a little dirt bike like this, and the braking is the best I've had on the channel. For a little electric dirt bike in the $2,000 range, I really don't think you can get anything better.

👍 What I loved

  • Best braking of any bike I've reviewed — and the pads weren't even bedded in
  • Suspension finally supports a 200 lb adult instead of a 120 lb kid
  • 42 mph measured, and 30 mph held up a sustained 15% grade
  • 17"/14" wheels roll over everything the little bike tripped on
  • Reverse, proper lights, key ignition and a tunable FarDriver controller
  • Nothing rattles — the chain is the loudest thing on it

👎 What to know

  • The colour screen washes out completely in direct sun
  • Range is the trade for the power — 17 mi in, I was on the last bar
  • Knobby tyres wander on rough tarmac; supermotos would transform it
  • Mounting the front plate and headlight is a genuine pain — budget an hour
  • About $1,000 more than the standard IN 10
