Ben's Take
The Pace 4 is Aventon's answer for riders who want the ease of an e-bike without any of the fuss. A low step-through frame, an upright position and a light 58 lb weight make it about as approachable as e-bikes get, and the 500W torque-sensor hub delivers gentle, natural power that suits relaxed cruising. The 733Wh battery is generous for the class at up to 70 miles, and you still get ACU smarts and hydraulic brakes. At $1,599 it's a friendly price for a comfortable, complete cruiser. I haven't ridden it on camera yet, but as a first e-bike or an easy-going daily cruiser it looks like an easy one to like. Full review to come.
