How the codes work, and how we get paid

Brands give us these codes because our reviews send them buyers. You pay the same as going direct, or less — never more. When you use one of the links, the brand pays us a commission.

That money buys testing, not scores. Range runs, brake tests, tear-downs, and the freedom to hand a bike back and say it wasn't good enough. No brand has ever bought a verdict here and none ever will — the bikes that disappoint get called out on camera with their code still sitting in the description.

Codes and prices change without warning. We check this page regularly, but the brand's checkout is the final word — if something's expired, tell us and we'll fix it.
