The Ramblas comes in three frame sizes — Medium, Large and XL — covering riders from about 5'5" to 6'5". At 54 lbs it's one of the lightest full-power eMTBs around, which pays off in how it handles and how easy it is to move around, on the trail or off. It's a pedal-assist Class 1 bike with no throttle.

Ben's Take
I didn't think I was going to like this bike at first, but I kind of fell in love with it. Aventon kept everything that was working on the OG Ramblas, including the $2,899 price, and upgraded where it matters: tubeless-ready wheels and a better fork. It's not a bike for double black trails or 15-foot drops, but on groomed blues and blacks this thing rips, and not having the safety blanket of a rear shock made trails I've ridden hundreds of times feel new again. In the 3 hours I rode it, it made me a better rider. Hell yeah, Aventon, you made a great bike here.
👍 What stands out
- A100 motor is surprisingly powerful; 100Nm is right up there with Bosch and DJI Avinox, and power comes in quietly and super smooth
- New auto mode goes from eco to turbo without pushing buttons and saves battery
- Tubeless-compatible wheels, and the Maxxis Rekons are fast, grippy and hook corners really well
- Nothing to adjust; no air pressure or sag to check, just get the bike off the rack and go
- The most efficient climbing feel Ben has ever tested on an eMTB, with perfect body position right over the cranks
- Fit and finish held up after a muddy ride; wheels still true, nothing came loose
👎 What to know
- Motor noise is on par with a Shimano EP8 or older Bosch CX; a bit under the Avinox and CX5 gold standard
- The hardtail rear end gets bounced around on rough root sections at speed
- The fork blows through its travel when it gets rough, with no compression settings or way to stiffen it
- Rear suspension scores a zero; rear wheel traction from a shock was definitely missed in rough spots
