The Cockpit

The Compact Romeo

Colour LCD + Cadence Sensor + Dual-Motor Switch

The Romeo II shrinks the platform to a 20-inch frame on 4.5-inch INNOVA tires, which makes it the Romeo that suits riders from 5'4" rather than 5'6" and up.

It keeps the 4-inch colour LCD, Bluetooth, dual-motor switch and five-level twist throttle with a safety delay.

The Bike Cave Verdict

Ben's Take

The Romeo II is for riders who want the dual-motor Romeo experience without the 26-inch bulk. Dual 1250W hubs make 200 Nm, the 3120Wh battery claims 108–120 miles, and the 20×4.5 INNOVA tires are wider than almost anything else at this price — that extra half-inch of tire is real cushion on broken pavement. The trade is a 330 lb payload and a single colour. At 143 lbs it's the lightest of the AWD Romeos, and the 5'4" minimum height opens it to riders the bigger bikes don't fit. Not yet on camera.

👍 What stands out

  • Dual-motor AWD in a frame that fits riders from 5'4"
  • 20×4.5 INNOVA tires — wider than the usual 4.0
  • 4-piston hydraulics and a quick 6–7.5 hour charge
  • Lightest of the AWD Romeos at 143 lbs

👎 What to know

  • Black only — no colour choice
  • 330 lb payload, not the 500 lbs of the bigger Romeos
  • 180mm rotors rather than the 240mm on the flagships
  • Not yet reviewed on camera — figures are Eahora's claims
