The Bike Cave Verdict
Ben's Take
This is the Romeo I'd point most people at. You get genuine all-wheel drive, 240 Nm — the same combined torque as the 60V flagship — 4-piston hydraulics on 240mm rotors, a 500 lb payload and a 3640Wh pack claiming 200 miles, all for $2,599 with $700 off the list. It's a 52-volt bike rather than 60, so the top-end claim drops from 50 to 46 mph, but almost nobody is riding there anyway. Three colourways is more choice than the rest of the range gets. At 161 lbs it's still a lot of bike. Not yet on camera.
👍 What stands out
- Genuine AWD with 240 Nm — flagship torque at a mid-range price
- 4-piston hydraulic brakes on 240mm rotors
- 500 lb payload and a reinforced U-joint steel frame
- Three colourways — black, green and grey
👎 What to know
- 161 lbs, so not a bike you carry upstairs
- 52V tops out lower than the 60V Ultra II
- Range claim assumes pedal-assist; throttle-only is 70–76 mi
- Not yet reviewed on camera — figures are Eahora's claims
