The Single-Motor Ultra

The Romeo Ultra keeps the 60-volt architecture and the big air-sprung chassis but runs a single rear hub, which is why it lands $1,000 under the Ultra II.

Five PAS levels, a five-level twist throttle and cruise control run off a 4-inch colour LCD with a USB port.

The Bike Cave Verdict

Ben's Take

The Ultra is the value play in Eahora's 60-volt range. You give up the second motor — 3800W peak instead of 5000W, 120 Nm instead of 240 — but you keep the 60V architecture, the air suspension at both ends, the 240mm hydraulics and a 4200Wh pack that claims the same 235-mile headline as the flagship. At $2,599 that's a lot of battery for the money, and it's 14 lbs lighter than the Ultra II. The 330 lb load limit is notably lower than the Ultra II's 500 lbs, so two-up riders should size up. 👍 What stands out

  • Same 235-mile claimed range as the flagship for $1,000 less
  • Air suspension front and rear at this price
  • 3800W peak and 120 Nm from a single 60V hub
  • 2,500-lumen headlight and 240mm hydraulic discs

👎 What to know

  • 330 lb payload — well short of the Ultra II's 500 lbs
  • Still heavy at 160.5 lbs
  • Single motor means less launch bite than the dual-hub bikes
  • Not yet reviewed on camera — figures are Eahora's claims
