Riding'times GT73 Pro
A dual-battery, 3,000W dirt-bike-style e-bike with the best suspension feel Ben has had in the class. It did not get near its quoted 50 mph with a 200 lb rider aboard.

What You Actually Get
Dual Removable Batteries
Two 18Ah packs rather than one big one, for 36Ah total, and they come out separately. Two chargers are supplied so both fill at once.
Suspension Is the Standout
Ben's line was that this is probably one of the best dirt-bike-style e-bikes he has ridden for suspension feel. An adjustable-damping alloy fork up front and a 1200 lb rear shock, tuned soft and controlled rather than springy.
Tame by Design
Riding'times built this one to be easy. The power comes in smoothly, the bike is stable, and it never tries to get away from you. Ben's read is that it is aimed at someone whose first off-road bike this is.
It Will Not Hit 50 With You On It
The quoted top speed is 50 mph and the bike's own speedometer showed 49 with the wheel spinning and no rider. With Ben aboard at 200 lb it settled at about 30 mph. A lighter rider will see more.
Pedals Capped at 15 mph
Pedalling alone tops out around 15 mph. There is no gearing to go faster, so past that you are ghost-pedalling. Useful when you want to look like a bicycle.
Snow Track Kit Available
Riding'times sell a track conversion for the GT73 platform, which is unusual at this price and turns it into a genuinely different machine in winter.

The Bike Cave Verdict
Ben's Take
“This bike is probably one of the best dirt bikey looking e-bikes feeling as far as suspension goes. It's very, very good.”
“Someone that this might be their first e-bike. You want something to grow with. You want something that's fairly tame, that's easy to control, that's just easy to manage. You just get on, pick your power mode, and just go. That's it.”
“All in all, this is a great handling bike. It still gets up to 30 miles an hour. Very comfortable bike, very fun bike to ride, very smooth suspension. I feel at home. I feel easy on this bike. It's easy to ride. It's easy to get along with.”
👍 What I loved
- Some of the best suspension feel in this class, front and rear
- Genuinely comfortable and easy to trust, which suits a first off-road bike
- Two removable 18Ah packs, and two chargers so both fill at once
- Smooth, controlled power delivery rather than a light switch
- 330 lb capacity and a 50 inch wheelbase make it stable
- A snow track kit exists for the platform
- Two-year warranty
👎 What to know
- Nowhere near the quoted 50 mph with a 200 lb rider, closer to 30
- The 49 mph figure comes from the wheel spinning with nobody on it
- Pedalling caps at about 15 mph with no gearing to fix it
- 36Ah sounds big but the worst case is about 36 miles
- 116 lb, and no lighter than rivals that go faster
Frequently asked questions
How fast is the Riding'times GT73 Pro?
Riding'times quote 50 mph. With Ben aboard at 200 lb it settled at about 30 mph. The bike's own speedometer showed 49 mph with the kickstand down and the wheel spinning, which is not the same thing as 49 mph down the road. Lighter riders will see more than 30.
What range does it get?
Riding'times claim 85 miles from the 36Ah dual battery. Ben's own rule is roughly a mile per amp-hour when you ride hard, which puts the worst case near 36 miles. Ride gently or add pedal input and you will do considerably better.
Can you pedal it?
Yes, up to about 15 mph. There is no gearing beyond that, so past 15 you are spinning the cranks without adding anything. It is enough to look and behave like a bicycle when you want to.
Who is this bike for?
Ben's read is somebody whose first off-road bike this is. It is comfortable, it is tame, the power is smooth, and nothing about it is intimidating. If you want raw speed there are faster bikes on this page for the same money.
What is the suspension like?
It is the best part of the bike. An adjustable-damping alloy fork and a 1200 lb rear coil, tuned soft and controlled. Ben rated it among the best he has felt on a dirt-bike-styled e-bike.
