X-Class 60V
The street-legal X-Class: the exact same 60-volt Performance hardware — 132 Nm hub, 35Ah dual battery, inverted fork and Fastace coil — locked to Class 3, 28 mph power so it's road-legal where Class 3 is allowed. Moped looks, e-bike rules.

60V Rear Hub Motor
1,500W rated · 132 Nm · Class 3 locked
From 52V To A 60V Monster
The old X-Class 52V was iconic; the 60V update gives it a bigger battery and a stronger hub with 132 Nm of torque, here tuned for street use.
Locked To Class 3, 28 mph
This street-legal version is capped at Class 3 — 28 mph pedal-assist — so it's road-legal wherever Class 3 e-bikes are allowed, no waiver required.
Same Hardware As The PPB
Mechanically it's the Performance edition: the difference is the power tune, not the parts. Same motor, same battery, same suspension.

60V 35Ah Dual Battery
20Ah in-frame + 15Ah · dual chargers
Two Packs, 35Ah Total
A 20Ah pack hides in the frame and a 15Ah pack sits up top for 35Ah at 60 volts — the Performance edition ships with the second battery and charger included.
85–105 Miles Of Range
That's a claimed 85–105 miles of range, and both packs charge on their own 60V 3A ST3 smart chargers.
Thermal-Resistant Cells
High-grade cells with thermal-resistant tech and UL-compliant construction sit behind the big 60-volt output.

Full-Suspension Moto Frame
Inverted fork · Fastace coil
Sur-Ron-Style Suspension
The Performance edition upgrades to an inverted 100mm thru-axle fork and a Fastace BDA53RC 80mm rear coil — the kind of suspension you'd expect on a light electric dirt bike.
Reinforced Hydroformed Frame
A hydroformed aluminum frame with reinforced welds carries the moto bench seat, dual battery and a 350 lb payload.
20 × 4.5 / 5.0 Fat Tires
Innova anti-puncture fat tires — 4.5" up front, a monster 5.0" out back — put the power down and soak up the hits.
The Cockpit
Everything On One Screen
Color Display + App + OTA Updates
The X-Class runs a color display with real-time ride data — speed, battery, power and mode — and pairs to the app for settings and over-the-air updates.
A dual-lens halo headlight throws 1600/800 lumens on high/low, backed by front and rear turn signals, a self-flashing brake light, DRL and a horn built into the headlight. It's a full moto lighting package.

The Bike Cave Verdict
Ben's Take
This is the X-Class for people who want to ride it on the road without a second thought. It's the identical 60-volt Performance machine — the 132 Nm hub, the 35Ah dual battery, the inverted fork and Fastace coil — but locked to Class 3, so it tops out at a street-legal 28 mph in pedal assist instead of the PPB's 40+. If your local rules allow Class 3, you get all the moto styling, the motorcycle-grade suspension and the huge range, in a package you can legally take on bike paths and roads. Same great value as the PPB at $2,499 with my code; you're just trading top speed for peace of mind. Everything I loved in the full review up top carries straight over.
👍 What stands out
- Street-legal Class 3 (28 mph) — road and bike-path friendly
- Same Performance hardware as the PPB: fork, coil, dual battery
- 35Ah dual battery, 85–105 mi of range, second pack included
- Motorcycle-grade suspension and 1600 lm halo lighting
- Excellent value at $2,499 with the code
👎 What to know
- Capped at 28 mph — if you want more, that's the PPB
- Single-speed — no gears if the battery runs flat
- 116 lbs and moped-sized — not a lightweight commuter
- Toe-down for shorter riders at a 34.5" seat
