The Soltera 3 comes in four frame sizes — S, M, L and XL — for riders about 5'1" to 6'4". At just 37 lbs it's the lightest e-bike Aventon makes and one of the lightest you can buy, and the Gates belt drive means almost no maintenance. It's a Class 1 pedal-assist bike with a 300 lb payload.

Ben's Take
The Soltera 3 is the one I'm most curious to ride, because it's chasing something different: lightness and simplicity. At 37 lbs it's barely heavier than a normal bike, the Gates Carbon belt drive is silent and essentially maintenance-free, and up to 70 miles of range from a small 367Wh battery is impressive for the weight. It's a single-speed Class 1 bike, so there's no shifting and no throttle — this is about a clean, quiet, natural-feeling ride rather than power or hill-flattening. At $1,499 it's a lovely idea beautifully specced for the rider who wants an e-bike that mostly disappears underneath them. I haven't ridden it on camera yet — full review to come.
