The old X-Class 52V was iconic; the 60V update gives it a bigger battery envelope and a stronger hub — 1,500W rated, 2,700W peak, and 132 Nm of torque.
Ships Legal, Unlocks Big
Out of the box it's a Class 2, 20 mph bike — legal anywhere. Ariel Rider keeps the unlock quiet: it's on you to enable the extra class modes at your own risk.
40+ mph On Private Property
Uncorked, the Performance edition will push past 40 mph depending on rider weight — proper moped speed.

The X-Class runs a color display with real-time ride data — speed, battery, power and mode — and pairs to the app for settings and over-the-air updates.
A dual-lens halo headlight throws 1600/800 lumens on high/low, backed by front and rear turn signals, a self-flashing brake light, DRL and a horn built into the headlight. It's a full moto lighting package.

The X-Class 52V was one of the most iconic e-bikes ever made — and then the whole market caught up and passed it. The 60-volt reboot fixes that. This Performance edition is the fully-loaded one: a 2,700W-peak hub making 132 Nm, a 35Ah dual battery hidden in and on the frame, a Sur-Ron-style inverted fork with 100mm of travel, and a Fastace coil out back. It ships as a tame Class 2, 20 mph bike — legal anywhere — but as a PPB it uncorks to 40+ mph on private property. What sells me is the value: stack it against a Motor Goat or a Lyric Graffiti X and the X-Class undercuts them while bringing motorcycle-grade suspension and lighting.
