The Abound SR keeps the LR's 4'11"–6'3" fit and 440 lb payload but trims the rear deck and eight pounds of weight, landing at 80 lbs. It's the pick if you want cargo capability but have a tight garage, a smaller rider, or just don't need the full long-tail length.

Ben's Take
The Abound SR is the Abound LR for people who don't need the full long-tail. You keep the 750W (1188W peak) torque-sensing hub, the 733Wh battery, up to 60 miles of range and the same 440 lb payload — but in a shorter, lighter, easier-to-park frame that suits tight garages and smaller riders. I haven't ridden it on camera yet, but as a compact car-replacement it looks like a smart buy at $1,899, and the ACU smarts and rear-wheel lock are exactly right for a cargo bike. Like the LR it's a 20 mph Class-2 hauler, so it's about carrying comfortably rather than speed. Full review to come.
